Introduction to the Deity

The Blessing-Giving Celestial Official is the Upper Prime Celestial Official and one of the Three Officials Great Deities. The Three Officials belief has a long history in Taoism, and “Celestial Official Bestows Blessings” has also become an auspicious cultural symbol deeply rooted in everyday folk life.

Statues and Works

Imperial-style robes and crown, ruyi scepter, tablet, or blessings-bestowing heavenly decree are common elements in Celestial Official images, which generally convey an atmosphere of harmony and solemnity.

This piece was newly composed by Master Zhijian based on traditional statue elements, and completed one by one in meticulous gongbi heavy-color painting. The work uses natural mineral pigments, with hand-applied gold detailing for the crown ornaments, robe patterns, ritual implements, and partial details. As a result, each piece will have natural variations in linework, color, and golden texture.

Production Process

Freehand outline sketch → layered color application → refined detailing → hand-applied gold finishing. Not printed, transferred, or mass-produced.

Offering and Shipping

Master Zhijian personally paints each work in the Taoist temple where he practices. After painting is completed, the work remains on the altar at that same temple for 30 days before protective packing and dispatch. Because each piece is hand-painted individually, production time and scheduling will vary depending on the complexity of the work and current order volume.

Wearing and Display

It may be worn or displayed according to personal faith practices, and may also be collected as a small Chinese traditional deity sculpture work. Avoid prolonged soaking in water, high humidity, and direct contact with the painting surface from alcohol or chemical cleaners.

Note:This article presents traditional religious / folk belief culture and the actual creative process, and does not guarantee financial luck, health, relationships, career, or any other personal outcome.
