Reverse talisman and 30-day blessing

This version includes a reverse talisman handwritten by a senior Taoist ritual master and 30 days of ritual blessing. Plain-back versions without talisman writing do not receive ritual blessing.

Original seal carving by Master Zhijian · hand-printed in cinnabar · 24K pure-gold inscription · 6 × 9 cm

This Leizu deity image is created from an original seal-carving composition by Master Zhijian, then printed individually by hand with cinnabar pigment. The inscription on the front is written by hand in 24K pure gold, and the reverse is hand-inscribed with Taoist talismanic script by a senior Taoist ritual master.

24K pure-gold inscription

The inscription on the front is written in 24K pure gold rather than printed in a gold-colored ink. Its metallic sheen changes naturally with the light and viewing angle. Because every piece is finished by hand, small differences in brushwork, gold coverage, and detail are part of the work.

Who is Leizu?

Leizu—Jiutian Yingyuan Leisheng Puhua Tianzun—is one of the major deities of Taoist thunder traditions, associated with the thunder offices, moral order, protection of the righteous, and Taoist thunder rites.

Master Zhijian reworks traditional Leizu iconography through the visual language of seal carving, compressing the deity’s expression, attributes, and composition into a compact 6 × 9 cm work suitable for collection or display.

Carved first, then printed one by one

This is not an industrial print. After the seal-carving composition is completed, each piece is printed individually with cinnabar pigment. Differences in pressure, pigment density, paper condition, and hand technique create natural variation in color, edges, and small details.

Hand-inscribed talismanic script on the reverse

The reverse is hand-inscribed by a senior Taoist ritual master according to the relevant religious tradition. The talismanic script is part of Taoist religious and cultural practice and is not presented as a guarantee of financial, health, career, relationship, or other personal outcomes.

Handmade variation

This is a hand-printed and hand-finished work, not an industrially printed product. Natural differences in cinnabar density, edges, paper marks, and gold brushwork are part of the handmade process and are not considered defects.

Religious and cultural note

Leizu, the gold inscription, and the talismanic script are presented as part of Taoist religious and cultural tradition. DecaMystGate documents the artwork, production method, and verifiable creative process and does not guarantee financial, health, career, relationship, or other personal outcomes.

     01|Hand-engraved Plate

Master Zhijian follows the original iconographic method, carving line by line to complete the deity image woodblock. The details, lines, and composition of the image all take shape at this stage.

  •  02|Whitespace Arrangement

After the carving is complete, tidy up the negative space, outlines, and fine lines so the plate remains clear and intact before printing.

  • 雷祖原創篆刻神像|高純度朱砂拓印與24K純金諱字

     03|Cinnabar Handmade Rubbing

Each sheet is hand-rubbed with cinnabar ink. Because there are subtle differences in each application of ink, the pressure used, and the condition of the paper, every finished piece retains the natural marks of handcrafting.

  • 雷祖6×9cm原創朱砂篆刻神像實拍

Seal carving 04 | 24K pure gold taboo character

Once the cinnabar seal impression is complete, the deity’s sacred name is then hand-inscribed on the front in 24K pure gold, creating the final front-side detail.

  • 雷祖朱砂篆刻神像手工作品實拍|至簡道長原創

     05|Handwritten rune on the back

The talisman script on the back of the finished piece is hand-written by Master Gaogong using traditional methods, not printed.
